YOLO-SOLANO AIR 2012

Yolo-Solano Air 2012 provides a comprehensive look at the District's air quality in 2012, its finances and its operations.

With the dual goals of education and transparency, the report was produced to spark a community conversation about air quality throughout the District.

Among the report's highlights:

* The District had 362 days within the good and moderate ranges of the Air Quality Index (AQI) in 2012.

* The District's incentive programs provided $17 million to clean up off-road engines and $300,000 to reduce mobile source emissions..

* District staff completed more than 2,500 inspections and settled 102 violations in 2012.

* Some 137 new permits were issued in 2012.
